How it works

We make it quick to reach a water treatment company that serves your address.

  1. You call or send a request

Tell us your community, whether you're on Las Cruces Utilities, another water system or a private well, and what's going on: scale, spots, a softener that stopped working, or drinking water you want to treat.

  2. We connect you with a local company

Calls and requests go to an independent water treatment company that serves the Las Cruces area.

  3. The company handles the job

They quote, schedule and do the work. Pricing, warranties and terms come from them directly.

What we are and aren't

Las Cruces Water Softener is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews or employ technicians, and we don't set prices. Using the site is free for homeowners.

In New Mexico, plumbing work is licensed by the Construction Industries Division (CID) of the Regulation and Licensing Department, and its MM-1 plumbing classification covers installing and servicing plumbing fixtures and piping. The state's handyman exemption doesn't apply to plumbing work. Ask which CID license the company or its plumber holds, look it up, ask whether your job needs a permit, and get a written quote that lists the equipment, the install details and the warranty.
